If we ask for more information about a location, prop, or another potential IP risk, please reply to the message in Image Manager with as much information as you have, even if it's none. After replying, leave the asset in your Image Manager until we get back to you.
The Artist Relations team tries to collect as much info as possible before asking the Legal team, but asking doesn’t mean a release will always be necessary. Our aim is always to try and accept content, and if we can do so without a release, we will.
When we ask for more info, doing a quick Google search and tracking down some info to include with your reply saves us a lot of time and makes the process much faster and smoother. It’s okay if you don’t have all the details, but we appreciate it when you try to give us a bit more than “it’s just a building” or “it’s just some random art.”
The name, address, website, and/or city are beneficial. It also helps to know where you were standing when you created the image or clip (e.g. are you on a public sidewalk or private property), and if you needed to buy a ticket to get there.
For props and clothing
A manufacturer, store, or even an online ordering link would be great.
