User-generated content (UGC) is any form of creative content—such as images, videos, text, and audio—that has been created and shared by users of an online platform. Everything posted to Twitter (microblogs), Instagram (social networks), and YouTube (content communities), for instance, is technically UGC.
At Stocksy, we consider UGC to be footage or photographs created from the artist’s real-life experiences using informal means of production.
Check out our UGC collection, or if you're an accepted Stocksy member, you can read more in our Candid Cameras creative brief.
