In Image Manager, you have the option of setting a "Type" for your content. You can find this setting in the "Edit Details" tab.
Here's what the options mean.
Photo and Video
Digital (see search results)
Any photo or video created with a digital camera. This is most work on Stocksy and should be selected by default.
Film (see search results)
Any photo or video created with (non-instant) analog film and digitized with a scanner or DSLR. This will be selected automatically if you use a scanner that our system recognizes. If not, you'll have to select it manually.
Mobile (see search results)
Any photo or video created with a mobile device (e.g. your phone).
Mixed Media (see search results)
More than one medium or material combined into a single digitized artwork.
3D (see search results)
The process of rendering 3D data on a computer, simulating light, shadows, colour, texture, and movement, and compositing these renders into a final photo or animated scene.
Photo Only
Polaroid (Instant) (see search results)
Any photo created with instant film and digitized with a scanner or DSLR.
Illustration (see search results)
Digital or hand-drawn artwork submitted as a rasterized jpeg image.
Video Only
Animation (see search results)
Digital or hand-drawn artwork manipulated to give the illusion of motion.
Edge Cases
Photo of a Photo
This is a digital photo where the subject is an instant photo. It should be tagged "digital." | This is an instant photo that fills the frame. It should be tagged "instant." |
