What if I can’t fill out all of the model release details?

To protect you and Stocksy, every model release must include all of the information listed in this article. We understand there are situations where some or all of these details may not be available. Here's what to do in each case.

If your model doesn't have contact info

Every model release must include a full address, phone number, and email address. If your model genuinely does not have one or more of these, you may substitute contact details where they can reliably be reached, such as:

• A family member or guardian's contact info
• A shelter or temporary residence
• A local post office address (e.g., general delivery)

If no formal address is available, please:

1. Fill in as much location detail as possible (e.g., city, state/province, and country).
2. Have the model sign the release as usual.
3. Take a photo of the model holding the signed release.
4. Submit the release with the photo attached.

If your model doesn't want to share their contact info

Not wanting to share personal details is not a valid reason to omit them. If a model refuses to provide their contact details, we cannot accept the release or publish the content.

We will never use this information for marketing. It is collected strictly to meet legal requirements related to content licensing and may be shared only in very limited circumstances.

If your model can't read or write

Follow the same steps listed under "If your model doesn't have contact info." Capturing a photo of them holding the signed release is especially important to confirm their consent, and you should still fill in as much contact information as possible.

We will send back releases with missing or incomplete contact information for correction before we can accept your content.
