Where can I find out if something is protected or not?

There are many online resources where you can find known IP risks, for example:

• DMLA's Known Image Restrictions List (KIRL)
• Adobe's Known Image Restrictions

You can also check a location's official website. Look under visitor or legal info for terms like "photography/filming policy"  or "photography/filming guidelines."
