What if I've been asked for a model release and I don't have one?

Although a model release is required for every recognizable person, if you cannot get one or think the person is unrecognizable, let us know by responding to our feedback in Image Manager.

Someone might be considered unidentifiable because they are out of focus, blurred, silhouetted, distant or otherwise lacking individual characteristics. In some cases, we will ask you to retouch the image to make people even less recognizable. This could include blurring, adding a shadow, changing clothing, removing tattoos, etc. 

We review case-by-case to determine whether a person can pass without a release and our Legal team makes the final call.
