You (the contributor) and any team members associated with your account can view your own uploaded model and property releases.
Stocksy staff with a business need (e.g., legal, licensing, operations) have access to review these documents.
Clients do not automatically receive a copy of your release when they license an asset. In some cases (e.g., for age verification), clients may request to view a release. These versions are redacted and do not contain any personal contact information.
In rare licensing circumstances involving the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), U.S.-based clients may require unredacted release information to issue payments per union rules. This is covered under the model release's clause about sharing personal information "directly related to licensing…where necessary."
Legal claims involving models are typically considered to be between the artist and the model, since the contributor is the party obtaining and submitting the release.
In extremely rare cases (e.g., a legal dispute or rights verification), Stocksy may need to reference or share model release details with legal teams or third parties, as permitted under the release agreement and our Privacy Policy.
