Did you discover a few pesky logos in your images? Here are a few useful tips on removing them in Adobe Lightroom using the healing tool.
Select the healing tool in the upper right menu or use the keyboard shortcut Q. The healing tool has three modes: Content Aware, Healing, and Clone:
Content-Aware
This mode is specifically designed for precise removal of isolated branding elements or unwanted subjects surrounded by a large, uniform background. The content-aware tool intelligently samples information from the surrounding area near the target and generates a seamless patch to replace it.
If the initial result isn't perfect, you can enhance it by clicking the 'Refresh' button to give it another try. For even greater control, you can choose a specific source for sampling by holding down the Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) key and dragging over a relevant area in your image.
Healing
The healing mode offers a versatile solution, particularly effective when dealing with smaller branding elements. This mode allows you to sample a patch from a nearby region that will mimic the texture, lighting, and shading of the area you wish to eliminate.
Again, press refresh if you want another patch selected automatically, or manually move the source patch to the desired region.
Clone
The Clone tool generates a patch that replicates the chosen source area with precision. This tool is particularly well-suited for the seamless concealment of branding, as it allows you to create a patch with a uniform texture sampled from a nearby source.
